Hello everybody,

Welcome back to school ! I have missed you all over the summer. I hope you all had a good time?

This is my sister and I just after she arrived.
I made a sign for her.
This is what i would like to blog about today. My summer holiday. It was a very exciting summer holiday as my sister came to visit me in Hong Kong.

She was very nervous at first, as she had never been to Hong Kong or any part of Asia. It was also her first time to fly alone on an aeroplane.

I took her for a very nice meal on the first night she landed. the next day, we then went to 'The Peak.'
The Peak tram

We had a lot of fun riding 'The Peak' tram and looking at the views over Hong Kong.

My poor sister on her holiday, thought it would be relaxing, but I took her for lot's of walks to different Islands and in the New Territories.

We visited Won Tai Sin temple. It was raining, but it did not stop us having fun.

We visited Ocean  Park, to see the Panda's and play on the rides. We also wore silly hat's. Look here we are together. Don't we look silly.

Well that is it for this week. I will post some more pictures up very soon. Please tell me what you think of my pictures, and tell me about your holdiay.

Miss. Amy

Hello everybody, my name is Miss Amy. It has been very exciting to meet all the staff and students at the school. Thank you for being so friendly. I am looking forward to chatting with you all more this year.

I have lived in Hong Kong for one year. I really like all the mountains and skyscrapers because they are so beautiful. I love going to the beach here as well. I am learning Cantonese, but my Cantonese is not as good as your amazing English! Teaching Hong Kong students is amazing because you are all so clever and friendly.

My favourite food in Hong Kong is dumplings. I am vegetarian, which means I do not eat meat, and sometimes it is hard for me to find dumplings with only vegetables.

Here is what a real walrus looks like.

On the left, is a picture of me dressed up as a walrus. Dressing up and being silly sometimes can be lots of fun. Maybe, if you are lucky, the NETs will dress up in silly costumes for the English Funfair!

I also like to visit lots of different countries. For example, I went to China last year. This is a picture of me cycling near Guilin.

See you all soon,

Miss Amy
I love food !
Hello! My name is Mr. Isaac.  I am from Manchester in England. I have a mum, a dad and an older sister. She is a nurse.  I have a big family. I have 9 aunts and uncles and 27 cousins! We like to eat food together.
Do you have a big family? How many brothers, sisters and cousins do you have?

This is a picture of me when
 I was 2 years old.
 Don’t I look silly?

My big family!

English Countryside

In England I live on a farm. It is very quiet and beautiful there.  On the farm there are sheep and horses.  We also have foxes and squirrels in our garden. I think that they are very cute, but I can not often see the foxes because they are nocturnal (this means that the sleep underground during the day and only come out of their homes to hunt and play at night.

I like to swim and eat dinner with my friends. My favourite food is sushi. When I go to the sushi restaurant I eat so much food I think that my belly will pop!  Do you like sushi? What is your favourite food?

My favourite place in Hong Kong is Tai Hang near Causeway Bay. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants there. They also have a wonderful fire dragon there that dances around the street during mid-autumn festival. I went to see the dragon this year. (Picture 12) It was fun but there were too many people and I could not see much of the dragon. What did you do for Mid-autumn festival? Did you make any lanterns?

I am really looking forward to getting to know you all this year. Come and say hello to me at recess time and join us in our fun activities.

Mr. Isaac.
