Primary 6 Research Ancient Times!

Primary 6 are reading a book about ancient times in their lessons. We asked them to choose one ancient time from the book to research. Here are some of the best answers.

Ancient China:

“These people made the compass, fireworks, paper scrolls and the Great Wall” (Ann Tsoi, 6C).

“I would not like to travel to this time because Ancient China was struggling and the king was silly and selfish” (Ann Tsoi, 6C).

“I would like to travel to this time because I like to eat dumplings” (Adrian Chia, 6C).

 “I would prefer to be a woman in this time because women can wear the beautiful top knot” (Cherry Sui, 6A).

“I would prefer to be a man because in Ancient China, only boys can go to school” (Teresa Cheuk, 6C).

“I would not like to be a man in this time because there were no computers, electricity and water supply at home by that time” (Rooney Chan, 6A).

“I would like to travel to this time because I could see the whole course of building the Great Wall” (Melody Lo, 6D).

The Stone Age:

“I would not like to travel to that time. It is because we could only live in a cave and eat meat” (Chloe Lai, 6C).

Ancient Egypt:

“They made the pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. They ate bread, fish, meat and fowl” (Charlie Kwong, 6C).

“I would like to travel to this time because I want to know how they made the pyramids” (Fabio Wong, 6D).

“I would like to travel to this time because the ancient Egyptians’ clothes were cool” (Joyce Mak, 6A).

“I would not like to travel in that time because the punishment in that time was terrible” (Charlie Kwong, 6C).

“I would prefer to be a man in that time because a man can have a good education in that time” (Charlie Kwong, 6C).
